STEM Education
Both the United States and National 4-H have made STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) Education a priority. Tennessee 4-H Agents and Specialists also view this as an important mandate to ensure that our college graduates and those in their early careers stay competitive in an increasingly global society in addition to increasing science literacy to enable youth and adults to make informed decisions within their own lives. Tennessee 4-H provides numerous avenues of support to County Agents who conduct educational programs within our schools and with our young people through In-Service Trainings and lesson plans developed for their use. If you are a County Agent, please visit our Agent Resources tab for access to these materials (will require log-in). If you are a teacher and are interested in these resources please contact the Agent in your county.
